How do you create your pieces?
All pieces are traditionally handcrafted using the highest quality of (metallic) silk filigree threads available on the market. Most of our designs are also adorned with the finest Swarovski crystals. As each piece is handmade, it may vary slightly than the one that is pictured on our site. While we try to minimize these slight variations from piece to piece, it is a part of the handmade artistic process. No two pieces will ever be exactly identical. Website photos are an example only.
How do I care for my products?
Each motif will be placed within a high quality wood shadow box with protective glass. Please do not expose the motif/shadow box to any areas of high moisture, humidity, or fluxes of temperature — as this may lead to a deterioration of the wood as well as possible condensation within the box itself. To clean off any dirt/dust that may accumulate on the glass of the shadowbox, we advise using a lens cleaner solution and a microfiber cloth. Do not apply hard pressure on glass while cleaning, as this may crack or dislocate the glass. We do not advise the use of any glass cleaning solutions (i.e. Windex) as this may lead to blemishes on the glass and possible staining and discoloration of the wood.
Do you offer international shipping?
No. We currently only offer free shipping (via UPS) throughout the contiguous United States.
Standard returns
Orders may be returned within (5) business days upon delivery of the item(s) for a refund of the purchase price only if items show signs of damage in transit. You must submit a claim to us (at:info@goldenbutterflystudios.com) and provide proof of damage for inspection by our team. Please retain all of the original packing materials. If claim is approved, you will receive your refund in the same form of payment used to place your order. Please allow up to 1 business week to see the refund on your account.
Limited Release/Custom order returns
Limited Releases and custom orders cannot be returned unless they are damaged in transit. If damaged in transit, please file a claim with our team. You will be informed at the time of purchase if an item is not returnable.
